2A. SMS & TEXT MESSAGING COMMUNICATIONS

TowBoatU.S. Lake Texoma may communicate with customers via SMS (text messaging) for purposes related to marine towing, salvage, dispatch coordination, safety updates, service notifications, and other service-related communications.

Types of Messages. SMS communications may include dispatch confirmations, captain ETA notifications, live vessel tracking links, safety-related updates, service completion confirmations, payment or invoice links, and customer feedback requests. These messages are transactional in nature and are sent only in connection with a customer-initiated service request.

How Customers Provide Consent. Customers provide consent to receive SMS messages by voluntarily supplying their mobile phone number when requesting service via phone, website, or direct communication with our team. By providing your mobile phone number and requesting service, you agree to receive automated SMS text messages from TowBoatU.S. Lake Texoma related to your service request. Messages are sent only in response to a customer-initiated request for marine assistance. We do not send unsolicited marketing text messages.

Message Frequency. Message frequency varies depending on the nature and duration of the service request.

Opt-Out Instructions. Customers may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. After opting out, no further SMS messages will be sent unless the customer initiates a new service request. For assistance, customers may reply HELP or contact us directly at (903) 419-0911.

Message & Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Data Sharing. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS communications may be facilitated through third-party service providers strictly for the operational delivery of service-related communications.
